Abortion: A Widespread Right to Life Violation

Terms:
Pro-Choice people believe abortion should stay legal
Pro-Life people believe abortion should not be legal

QUESTION AND ANSWER

Question 1. Are the unborn alive or dead?
They are alive. They are growing and doing what living things do.
If they were not alive, there would be no demand for abortions.
You cannot kill anyone that is not alive.

Question 2 - Are the unborn human or not?
They are human beings. Cats have cats, dogs have dogs, humans have...?
They cannot be anything other than human beings. They have human DNA and their parents are human.

Question 3 – What’s the status of the baby’s development when abortions typically occur?
Abortion is legal thru all 9 months of pregnancy.
A baby has all of it’s organs at 8 weeks.
The vast majority of abortions are after this time.
You can visually see that this is a human baby before 8 weeks.
It has a nervous system and feels terrible pain during abortion.
It has a heart that abortion doctors stop from beating.
Abortion docs do not show the ultrasound or the heartbeat to the mother, for fear she may cancel and they’ll lose a sale. They also do not show the mother the remains after the abortion for fear that she will not come back for a second one later or will not refer her friends. Why is all of this hidden from the patient?

Question 4 – How do pro-choicers deal with the fact that abortion kills living human beings?
Many will say that some humans have rights and others do not. This is the “personhood” argument. They will make an arbitrary line and say some trait makes you a person (a human with rights) and without that trait you’re not a person (a human without rights). Whenever someone re-labels a human as something sub-human, it is with the intention of justifying terrible harm to that human being. This tactic was done in slave times, done by the Nazi’s, etc. You only de-humanize someone when you want to take their rights away. It’s no wonder that the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margret Sanger, was friendly with the KKK and had extreme and racist views. I would encourage everyone to read up on her on wikapedia. You either believe all human beings have rights, or some human beings have rights. Abortion is based on the second idea.

Question 5 – Even if you are killing a living human being, doesn’t a woman have the right to control her body?
No one in civilized society has complete control over their body. Can we do heroin? Can we commit suicide legally? Can we legally take our bodies and hurt others for no apparent reason? It’s an extreme and naive view that says we can do whatever we want with our bodies.
Also, what about the babies right to their own body, to not be attacked by surgical instruments? The same rights apply to the baby as to the mother. Neither age nor size afford you more of a right to life just as being white doesn’t afford more rights than being black.

Question 6 – Why should the law get involved? Isn’t this between a woman and her doctor?
The law is to uphold basic human rights. That’s what the women’s movement and civil rights movement were all about. That’s what the pro-life movement is all about as well – getting the government to recognize and uphold the rights of living human beings in the womb. The law arrogantly ignores the victim that has a right to be free. If someone in the US today attempted to buy a slave they should be promptly arrested and the person should be set free. Also, abortion doctors should be arrested and babies should have their right to life recognized and protected so that they too are free from being violently attacked in the womb.

Question 7 – Does the law ever protect babies in the womb?
Yes. When a man kills a pregnant woman he is guilty of two crimes and there are two victims, not just one. The baby that is killed is a second offense and in many states it’s referred to as fetal homicide. The baby’s right to live is recognized in these cases, but if an abortion doctor kills the same baby, the law looks the other way. This must stop; the abortion doctor has committed homicide and should be arrested the same way a man is arrested if he kills the same baby when attacking the mother.

Question 8 – Do pro-choice people believe in equal rights?
It is impossible to be pro-choice and believe in equal rights. Pro-choice people state that the unborn do not have a right to live. You cannot be pro-choice and believe in equal rights.

Question 9 – What about those that would be unwanted, poor, have bad mothers, down syndrome, …?
This is the compassionate homicide argument. The idea is they’re better off dead so kill them. Let’s apply this then to all the down syndrome kids walking around our city today. Let’s get some guns and every down syndrome person we see we can shoot them. Let’s take all the unwanted, all the poor, all the troubled, all the one’s in broken homes, etc. Take them down to a firing squad and kill them. Is that compassion or madness?

Question 10 - What about pregnancy due to a rape or incest?
If a woman is raped and/or has incestul relations and becomes pregnant, the baby inside her has a life and has a right to that life. The baby in the womb has a right to live and we don’t punish innocent babies for a crime committed by someone else. Suppose someone came to arrest you for a crime you did not commit. That would be terrible injustice. So is killing the unborn for another’s crime. We would not kill a baby in a crib because of how they were conceived. The baby, however conceived, is alive and has a right to stay alive.

Question 11 – What about a pregnancy that could harm a woman’s health?
There are almost no circumstances where terminating a life is necessary to save the life of a mother. In such cases the doctor should try their best to save both. These are the rarest of situations and a law effecting millions upon millions of babies cannot be determined by that extremely rare low percentage of odd cases. We can let congress determine if there are to be any exceptions for these cases. Many pro-choice people will hide behind this ethical problem to then justify the 3700 abortions per day in America which are almost all due to relations where there was total consent and no risk to the mothers life.

Question 12 – Wouldn’t women resort to coat hangers if abortion became illegal?
A small number of crazy women probably will. That fact that someone is fanatical enough to do that or to go to a non-licensed or ill equipped so-called doctor is no reason to make it legal. We could make heroin legal upon the same basis saying, druggies will do it anyway, so make it safe, legal and have doctors administer it. Incidently, abortion is never safe for the baby and the statistics show that more women experience depression, dysfunction, and drug abuse if they’ve had an abortion.

Question 13 – Even if they’re not right, don’t pro-choice people have good motivations?
The abortion industry is just like all industries, they’re out to make money. They’re not do-gooders any more than any corporation. Individual pro-choice people though are a mixture and some are well intending, but they’re in a haze of confusion. Most pro-choicers can’t bring themselves to admit that the unborn are living human beings, even though science and common sense tell us so. Young men are often motivated by their sex drive and lack of wanting to take care of a baby. They want to tell a girl what she wants to hear and many girls are pro-choice, or at least that’s the guys perception. Also, these teen boys really want her to kill their baby if she gets pregnant because he has more important things to do than to raise his own child. They think it’s better to kill their own baby than to be a dead beat dad. The truth is, teens will kill for sex. Among the older crowd, one disturbing trend is that many wealthy whites are pro-choice with subconscious racist overtones. They know more abortions mean less blacks and Hispanics since these minorities get many more abortions than whites as a percentage of their population. These white people don’t want more black people around because they might cost more in taxes or they may begin to have too much influence in the nation. A high percentage of abortions are white doctors killing black babies and any of the civil rights leaders if they were around today would bring that up as a huge issue as they were all pro-life. Other wealthy whites want abortions for their teen girls because secretly killing their grandchild lets them keep their “status” that they work so hard to maintain. In short, there are many motives to promote this form of homicide.
